Description: At the department of surgery (HPB services), Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), New York we are looking for a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher with interest and expertise in computational imaging, quantitative image analysis, artificial intelligence, and machine learning in precision medicine for abdominal cancers.

Our group aims to perform cutting edge research to provide better care for patients with hepatopancreatobiliary cancers, particularly for pancreatic and liver cancers. We focus on the identification of biomarkers for early detection, diagnosis, prognostication as well as prediction of survival and response to a therapy towards personalized treatment stratification for patients. Our research works are regularly published in top journals. Upon joining the individual will be encouraged for his/her independent carrier pathway.
The ideal candidate should hold a PhD degree in Biomedical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Engineering or relevant field with prior research experience in medical image analysis of different imaging modalities using classical machine learning as well as deep learning with strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, R, etc. A good publication record is essential. The candidate should have good communication skills as he/she needs to collaborate with researchers from different backgrounds ---clinicians, surgeons, radiologists, statisticians, pathologists, biologists, etc.
